We have so much to be THANKFUL for here at VidaNet! Jesus continues to call young people from Latin American and North America to be global disciples of Himself through intensive discipleship and mission opportunities. We are grateful for the original vision that God gave through DeLynn and Gloria Hoover, and for the new life that springs forth from the original seeds that were planted. It’s so fun to be part of God’s global mission!

Last year, the Costa Rican discipleship base, “Casa VidaNet” was paid off! This has allowed us to dream and ask the Lord what His future plans are for VidaNet. One answer is to send more of our alumni to unreached areas of the world, which we are beginning to do.  Another clear leading of God, through the Latin American pastors we serve, is to have a VidaNet base more centrally located in Central America.  

As a result, we are moving forward with the dream to purchase the VidaNet discipleship base in Honduras, which we have been renting for the past several years. This base is in a more rural area and is more accessible to the churches of Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala. It is graciously being offered to VidaNet at a portion of its true market value in order to see the property be used for further disciple-making purposes. 

With some projected improvements to the property in addition to the original purchase price, we are seeking to raise $150,000, some of which is already in hand. Thanks to God and His people, we plan to make the initial down payment before the end of this year.
